Use Solar Lights to light your pathways, to accent your yard landscaping and add security to your home.

Garden and Landscaping solar lights are easy to install with no wiring required, thus making them safer to use. They can be installed anywhere there is sunlight. These solar lights have solar panels installed using the sun’s renewable energy to re-charge batteries during daylight hours and automatically light up when dusk comes around.

Solar lights save on your electric bill by supplying their own power. They do not use power from the power company.

www.gosolarlight.com offeries a variety of Garden, pathway and landscaping Solar lights. Also offered are fountains, solar water pumps, and solar powered lanterns. Visit our sight and see.

Example of a Solar Garden Light

What is Solar Energy? First off, Solar is defined as of, by or from the sun. Thus, Solar Energy is energy from the sun. This energy comes in several forms. The two most common energies used from the sun are heat and/or light energy. Both are Solar Renewable Energy.

Solar panels have been created to convert the suns energy to useable energy. Some solar panels are used to heat water, such as heating swing pools, or heating hot water for use where ever hot water is required. Using solar energy in this way saves money by cutting down on the use of natural gas or electricity. Although purchasing and installing solar panels for heating water may seam expensive at first, it will usually pay for itself in a few years.

Other Solar Panels convert Solar Energy to electricity. Technology has been developed to convert solar to both Direct Current (DC) and to Alternating Current (AC).

For DC current, solar panels can charge rechargeable batteries during day light hours, the batteries then supply DC power for many uses. Another example which I’m sure you have seen is Calculators that work just by exposing the solar cells to light. At www.gosolarlight.com, we offer a variety of products that use Solar Panels and Rechargeable Batteries. (Example: A solar Squirrel Spot Light)

Something that is becoming very popular now is the use of solar as a source of AC power both residential and commercial. In the past, this source of renewable energy was expensive. With new developments in the solar panel technology, it is becoming more and more affordable. I have even heard a rumor that people are selling there excess energy back to AC power companies. What a great idea. So you see, Solar is Renewable Energy.
